Yossi powerful thought .

The thing is, and this is what I learn from reading tanach, from all these kinds of questions and thoughts, that nobody has any clue in real time about good and bad. Religious people usually have the feeling that they have this book which is so utterly clear there are good guys and bad guys, and this defines their mindset. But if you read the books closely and think a bit you see that most things called good or bad are not entirlclear even today, and definitely were not clear at the time. Most of the major sins in the bible we don’t even exactly knwo what they were or what was the problem. case in point moses sin last weeks parsha etc. same with all the major figures. so if we want to say what is the lesson of these stories to us it is precisely that. that it is humanly impossible to know who is moses and who is korach. who is jeremiah and who is navi sheker. and we have nothing to do but try to do good and hope history or whoever will judge us kindly. A great illusstration of this point is the yismach moshe saying that when he was a gilgul in the midbar, or translated rationally when he thinks of himself of living in those times, he didn’t take sides between moshe and korach.

אני תמיד מפרש בברכת על הצדיקים ושים חלקנו עמהם תתן שיהיה חלקנו שנהיה חסידים של הצדיקים האמתיים ולא הבלופרים, אבל אי אפשר לדעת, מתפללים ולעולם לא נבוש כי בך בטחנו ,, שלא נתבייש שבחרנו בקרח או בקנייסבקי כי בך בטחנו בטחנו עליך שנימשך לטוב, ואפילו אם נטעה בטחנו בך ולא בצדיקים או מנהיגים.

באמת החרדים למשל הבינו בזמן שאין בתורה תשובות לשאלות האמתיות של העולם אז החליטו לצמצם את התורה ליורה דעה ועל זה הם מגדירים את הטוב והרע. אבל בוודאי מי שקורא בתנך מבין שעיקר התורה זה המציאות האמתית הפוליטיקה הזוגיות הבחירות האמתיות שהאדם עושה. יורה דעה זה פרט הכי שולי.

טוב יצאתי ידי חובת שלשידעס תורה להבוקר, נלך ללמוד במקרא..

כן. משה ואהרן הצילו את ישראל מיד מצרים שמואל הציל אותם מיד פלשתים ובנה להם מלוכה. דברנו אצל ספר שמואל הוא באמת האב המייסד של מלכות ישראל.
