The Elements of Theology: The Gods as Values
We discuss prop. 119-122 of the Elements of Theology touching upon the way that each God is a goodness or a value, such that there are a plurality of values in Pproclus' metaphysics each of which exercises pro-noia, translated ""providence"", but which really is the original valuation of all things by the gods. We also see how Proclus describes the power of the Gods in the same way that he describes Infinity. Some discussion on divine knowledge is left for the following week.
