Elements of Theology: Unity Itself and the Henads
In this class, I explain propositions 2-6 of the Elements of Theology, on Unity, how Unity is participated in, why it exists separately and also why there must be a "first unified group" of "henads", simple, absolute unities, that mediate between Unity itself and everything else.
In the end, I give Proclus' answer to the question" These arguments are all really nice, but don't they just show that we have to think a certain way? How do we know that the world is the way we think it is?"
